General Responsibilities

Employees are assigned to one of four essential functions, rotating as cleaning specialists as needed. All employees will clean as a team and be assigned one of the four specialist roles upon arrival at the job site. The OS1 Specialist must be versatile and able to perform all essential functions and complete the required OS1 training competencies. This individual is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly conditions in the facility areas. Learn more about the OS1 method here: https://pegasusclean.com/os1

Specific Duties / Essential Functions

• Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Emptying trash cans around the property and replacing trash bags.
• Cleaning corridors and stairwells.
• Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable).
• Cleaning and polishing furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures.
• Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintaining janitor closet and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
• Periodically cleaning overhead vents and dusting blinds.
• Proficiency in English will enhance communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Performing End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in English is recommended but not mandatory; we value diversity and inclusivity.
• Open availability is required; overtime and schedule adjustments may be necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
• Applicants must provide proof of work authorization and complete I9 and E-Verify processes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and carry a 12 lbs backpack vacuum as needed.
• Good hygiene skills are required.
