CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain common areas of office buildings, apartments, and other facilities in clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include spot cleaning lobby doors, polishing chrome, vacuuming elevator cabs, restrooms upkeep, trash removal, and reporting maintenance needs.

The role emphasizes punctuality, dependability, and safety compliance in a fast-paced building service environment.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas as needed.
• Sweep building entrances and clean smudges from walls and doors.
• Report any lights out to Management.
• Policing lobby during high-traffic times; empty trash receptacles.
• Vacuum carpeted floors; dust mop lobby floors twice daily.
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors; main lobby call buttons.

Guided by a Service Heart we are a company Built to Serve with a passion to exceed our customer’s expectations.Job Details:A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Spot clean the lobby glass doorsPolish chrome on lobby doorsVacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a dayInspect the building exterior and pick up any trashClean ashtrays and sand urns on every floorEmpty and clean exterior trash receptaclesCheck restrooms twice dailyVacuum lobby once a day or as neededSweep stairwells and landings as neededRemove all debris from landscaped areas as neededSweep building entrancesClean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall coveringReport any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management OfficeReport any solicitors to the Management OfficeWhere applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day.
