Job Description:

A Day Porter's basic function is to maintain the standards of cleanliness, appearance, maintenance, and safety of the facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Keep hallways and break rooms clean.
2. Keep bathrooms clean.
3. Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.
4. Perform minor maintenance, such as replacing burned-out light bulbs.
5. Clean common areas such as kitchens, cafeterias, and patios.
6. Clean and prepare conference rooms before VIP visitors and after meetings.
7. Clean high-touch areas to reduce the spread of illness by eliminating bacteria and germs.
8. Respond to spills and other cleanup emergencies.
9. Eliminate or warn about safety hazards, such as wet floors.
10. Remove trash and snow from driveways and parking lots.
11. Assembly/disassembly of the meeting.
