Overview

POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION: Day Porter/Custodian $14hr

Essential Job Functions & Expectations

• Day Porter Duties:
• Perform Major Cleaning Tasks Such As Vacuuming. (using a 25lb. vacuum daily)
• Wet Mopping.
• Sweeping.
• Dusting.
• Emptying Trash. (lifting wastepaper and debris-minimum of 55 lbs.)
• Cleaning and Disinfecting Drinking Fountains.
• Clean Restrooms, including Floors and all Fixtures (i.e.: Urinals, Toilets, Sinks, Mirrors, Partitions, and Counters).
• Ensure Restrooms are Clean and Disinfected.
• Wash Windows and Sill (Door Glass).
• Filling Dispensers.
• Stocking Supplies in restrooms.
• Must be able to Walk Up and Downstairs frequently, as well as Regular Bending and Standing as needed in a daily shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to Perform Essential Functions.
• Valid driver’s license
• Effective Interpersonal/Communication skills.
• Effective Grooming Skills.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally.
• Ability to push/ pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently.
• Able to Operate Email and Computer.
• Download and Operate App. For Clock In/Out Procedures.
