Job summary

Marsden Services in Phoenix is seeking a Day Porter for our Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning team. The role offers a 7am-3:30pm shift on Monday and Friday in the Downtown Phoenix area, at $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms, and stock replenishment while following safety policies. Must be 18+, English-speaking, and able to lift 30 lbs; background check required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• General cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to disposal area.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; may scrub, wax, and polish.
• Stock and replenish supplies.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Clean restrooms; take out the trash; sanitize.

Requirements

• You must be 18 years old.

• General cleaner experience preferred

• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.

• A pre-employment criminal background check are required.

• Able to lift up to 30lbs sometimes more.

Job Duties

• As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail.

You will be:

• Emptying wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting to disposal area.

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and manual or backpack vacuum cleaners. Some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.

• Stocking and Replenishes Supplies

Requires following safety policies and procedures (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).

• Cleaning Restrooms
