Job summary

Pro-Serv in Down Town Phoenix is seeking a cleaner to work on a split schedule with shift hours Mon and Fri from 8:00 to 12:00. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.00 and requires basic cleaning duties at a commercial site.

The role includes routine cleaning tasks, safety adherence, and light lifting. Candidates must be at least 18, have some cleaning experience, and be able to communicate in English; a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General cleaner experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak English for safety.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs, occasionally more.

Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to disposal area.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using brooms, mops and vacuums; some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Stock and replenish supplies.
• Follow safety policies and procedures (locking doors, using appropriate chemicals, report incidents).
• Clean restrooms.
• Take out the trash.

Job Duties:

• As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail.

You will be:

• Emptying wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting to disposal area.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and manual or backpack vacuum cleaners. Some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
