Job summary

Corporate Cleaning Group is hiring a dependable Daytime Porter for a commercial laboratory facility in Wells Branch, Austin, TX. You will handle floor care, trash, restrooms, surfaces, glass, and the coffee area, with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety.

This role requires the ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch, and to operate a floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment. We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak English.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Willing to operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubber.
• Able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to keep areas spotless.
• Take out trash from common areas, offices, restrooms, labs.
• Dust and wipe desks, counters, shelves.
• Clean restrooms sinks, toilets, mirrors, floors.
• Shine glass surfaces and partitions.
• Restock paper products and soap dispensers.
• Operate floor scrubber; larger high-traffic areas.
• Disinfect high-touch areas like doorknobs and switches.
• Tidy lab areas; wipe counters and equipment.
• Spot-clean walls, baseboards, doors as needed.
• Restock coffee/snack bar; keep supplies.
• Clean spills quickly; keep building safe.
• Keep supply closets neat; report issues.

Corporate Cleaning Group is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Daytime Porterfor a commercial laboratory facility in Wells Branch, Austin.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable interacting with clients and employees throughout the day.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
• Pay: Starts at $18/hour
• Holiday Pay: Get paid time and a half during major holidays

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors to keep everything spotless
• Taking out the trash from common areas, offices, restrooms, and labs
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces (like desks, counters, and shelves)
• Cleaning all areas of the restrooms (sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors)
• Shining up glass surfaces (windows, mirrors, and glass partitions)
• Restocking paper products and soap dispensers to keep things running smoothly
• Operating the floor scrubber to scrub floors and keep high-traffic areas looking their best (ideal candidate must be comfortable with operating this equipment)
• Disinfecting high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, and handrails to ensure everyone’s safety
• Tidying up lab areas, wiping down countertops and equipment, and making sure everything’s sanitized
• Spot cleaning walls, baseboards, and doors as needed
• Restocking and maintaining the coffee and snack bar, keeping it clean and stocked with coffee, snacks, and supplies
• Cleaning up spills quickly to keep the building safe and tidy
• Keeping our supply closets neat and organized
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to keep everything running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be able to speak English, as you’ll be interacting with clients and team members
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but we’ll train you!
• Comfortable operating cleaning equipment, such as a floor scrubber (don’t worry, we’ll show you how!)
• Flexibility is a must: Since this is a 24/7 lab, you must be available to work during holidays when needed (you’ll get paid time and a half during major holidays!)
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• A team player who can also work independently
• Someone with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• A positive attitude, with great attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move items (up to 50 pounds)
• A willingness to follow safety and cleaning guidelines in specialized areas, like labs
