Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a custodian in Independence, OH to perform cleaning and maintenance across lobbies, offices, and restrooms. The role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with attention to detail and reliability.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and weekly pay. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior custodial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience: Custodial, housekeeping, or porter roles is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance in lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust surfaces, and clean windows.
• Transport trash and recyclables to disposal areas.
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings, events, or special functions.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and report issues to management.
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as necessary.
• Support team members and other departments with facility-related needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; dust surfaces and clean windows.
• Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas.
• Set up and break down rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or special functions as needed.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries throughout the facility.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, reporting leaks, or other facility issues to management.
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as necessary.
• Support team members and other departments with facility-related needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
