Job summary

Premiere Building Maintenance Corporation in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Day Porter to perform the overall janitorial services at the facility, cross trained as restroom, vacuum, utility, glass, light duty, pressure washing, and floor technician.

Starting pay is $12 an hour with Monday-Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Benefits, PTO, 401k, and several bonuses are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to build relationships with management and fellow employees.
• Ability to stay on task while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Dusting and dust mopping.
• Damp mopping and vacuuming carpets.
• Emptying trash and cleaning restrooms.
• Cleaning glass and desktops; spot cleaning walls.
• Perform other similar janitorial duties as assigned.

Job Details

Description A Day Porter is an employee assigned to perform the overall janitorial services operation at the facility and will be cross trained as a restroom specialist, vacuum specialist, utility specialist, glass specialist, light duty specialist, pressure washing technician, and floor technician.

Starting Pay: $12 an hour Monday-Friday

Start time: 7:00 am-3:00 pm

The essential functions of a Day Porter include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Follow safety policies and procedures without exception
• Dusting
• Dust mopping
• Damp mopping
• Emptying trash
• Spot cleaning walls
• Spot cleaning carpet
• Vacuuming carpet
• Cleaning restrooms
• Cleaning glass and desktops
• Performing other similar and related duties as assigned
