Job summary

Sapulpa Public Schools—Washington Administrative Center in Sapulpa, OK—is looking for Day/Night Custodians to maintain facilities and grounds for continuous educational use. Reports to the Director of Support Services and operates under a 12-month work cycle.

The role requires a minimum of three years of related experience or training, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Opens, secures and locks the buildings as necessary.
• Inspects building and grounds for cleanliness, safety, and health hazards.
• Promotes safety, health, and comfort of students and employees.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and uses it properly.
• Cleans assigned areas daily and as necessary.
• Cleans restrooms daily and as necessary.
• Makes minor repairs to facilities as directed.
• Replaces light bulbs as necessary.
• Performs related custodial duties as assigned.
• Maintains inventory and accounts for materials and labor.
