Progress Industries in Newton, Iowa seeks a Day Habilitation Manager to lead and oversee our Day Habilitation program. You will supervise staff, coordinate quality services for persons served, maintain required documentation, and support meaningful community-based programming.

The ideal candidate is a strong, organized leader who makes decisions confidently and remains committed to high-quality services for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral science with 1 year of related experience, or equivalent.
• Valid Iowa driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
• Ability to develop community-based activities and manage programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, coach, and direct Day Habilitation staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Day Habilitation program.
• Ensure services and documentation meet state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Attend ISP meetings.
• Develop and promote community-based activities.
• Assist with hiring, training, and staff development.
• Manage program budgeting and administrative tasks.
