Job summary

Hope Haven, Inc. is seeking a Day Habilitation Lead to guide staff and support a warm, engaging learning environment for clients at our Sibley program in Iowa. You will train staff, coordinate daily activities, and promote person-centered planning.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with benefits including health insurance, a 403B plan with employer match after one year, flexible spending, paid time off, and other supportive programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience with people with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to use basic computer applications and word processing.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage as required.

Responsibilities

• Guide Day Habilitation program staff and individuals served.
• Arrange transportation and support community integration.
• Document activities per Medicaid and program standards.
• Promote safety, conduct emergency drills and maintain records.
