Job summary

Arc GLOW seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide daily care for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings. You will assist with daily living skills, participate in activities, and accompany outings in the community.

Per diem and full-time roles available with day hours (7:30 AM–3:30 PM) and some evening meetings. Responsibilities include documenting data, assisting with personal needs, transporting as needed, and using computer software.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• The physical ability to transfer and lift people with mobility restraints.
• The drive to help others and work in a team.
• Ability to efficiently use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily care to people supported with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Assists and encourages individuals with personal needs.
• Plans daily activities and participates in group activities.
• Supports community inclusion through events and volunteer opportunities.
• Documents program data accurately and timely.
• Provides transportation using agency vehicles.
• Uses software platforms for job-related functions.
• Performs meal preparation.
