Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC) seeks a Day Habilitation Director to lead a multidisciplinary program serving adults with developmental disabilities in New Bedford, MA. The role focuses on strategy, operations, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while promoting person-centered service delivery and community partnerships.

You will guide staff, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality, safe, and engaging services that advance independence and community participation for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field with at least five years of experience in case management or coordination.
• Experience supervising staff in a health or human services setting.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily oversight of the Day Habilitation Program.
• Lead program planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with MassHealth Day Habilitation regulations and agency policies.
• Manage budgets, resources, and reporting requirements.
• Recruit, coach, supervise, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee admissions, assessments, DHSPs, goal development, and discharge planning.
• Promote person-centered, community-based programming and collaboration.
