Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Developmental Specialist to lead and oversee Day Habilitation Service Plans for adults with developmental disabilities in Central Massachusetts. You will implement individualized routines, coordinate daily activities, and promote community integration through targeted supports.

Responsibilities include staff training on DHSP processes, case management as needed, and building partnerships with community providers to maximize health, safety, and meaningful

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history, required.
• Drug testing required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activity schedules.
• Foster and develop positive community relationships.
• Train staff in the DHSP process, reporting requirements, and implementation of strategies.
• Provide case management as assigned and participate in interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with ancillary services, community members, other service providers and significant others.
• Ensure individuals are receiving supports to maximize their health and safety.

Education
