About The Role

The Mechanical - Fleet position at CFM's Fort Wayne facility is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet vehicles. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to keep our fleet in top condition. The successful candidate will collaborate with other team members to implement effective solutions that enhance vehicle efficiency and safety. Additionally, this position requires maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, contributing to our commitment to quality and compliance. Ultimately, the Mechanical - Fleet role plays a vital part in supporting our consumer support services by ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.

Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in automotive technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles.
• Experience with mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, PIV, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification in relevant areas.
• Experience working with fleet management systems.
• Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in fleet vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
