Job summary

Mr Greens Produce Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Day Shift Warehouse Selector to assist with moving and preparing products for distribution.

You will read orders, select items using pick sheets, and load materials for storage or shipping. Candidates should have at least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, 1 year with ride-on pallet jacks, and must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced industry.
• Candidates must be reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a positive attitude and work well independently and with a team.
• Minimum 1-year experience distribution warehouse required.
• Minimum 1-year experience using ride on pallet jack required.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Utilize the necessary pick sheet to select the product.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Operate pallet jack to remove the case(s) of product from storage rack.
• Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull process daily.
• Responsible for reporting all safety concerns in the work environment on a timely basis.
• Moves orders to loading dock to prepare for shipping.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Must maintain product integrity with proper handling & report damage to management immediately.
