Job summary

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and basic therapies under supervision.

Flexibility for weekend shifts is required. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time schedules (6:00AM–2:30PM), every other weekend, with competitive hourly pay ($17.22–$19.22) and benefits including health insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, signing and referral

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in IL as a CNA.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience delivering one-on-one patient care.
• Compassionate, supportive, and respectful demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance to elderly patients.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility.
• Support with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house, and providing personal hygiene assistance.

Full-Time : 6:00AM - 2:30PM, every other weekend required

Part-Time: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, 3 days a week, every other weekend required

RATE OF PAY: $17.22 - $19.22

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

Assist clients with ambulation

Help with mobility

Assist with physical therapy exercises

Perform housekeeping duties

Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

Enjoy working in a one‑on‑one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation every single day

Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

Available to work weekends and holidays

Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

Supportive and compassionate

Must be certified in the state of IL as a CNA
