The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The role focuses on personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities for residents in a compassionate one-on-one setting.

We offer full-time and part-time night shifts with competitive base pay and shift differentials. Eligible candidates must be IL-certified CNAs and committed to providing high-quality care with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the state of IL as a CNA.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Dedicated to high-quality personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients, including showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Support activities essential for daily living, including helping with meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Report unusual incidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Attend to safety protocols and care standards.

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house, and providing personal hygiene assistance

Full-Time: 6:30PM-7:00AM

Full-Time: 10:30PM-7:00AM

Part-Time: 10:30PM-7:00AM every other Saturday and Sunday only

Base pay: $17.22 (plus applicable shift differentials)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
