Job summary

Aurora Community Services in Eau Claire is seeking a Day Center Program Assistant (Caregiver) to support adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities in day services. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday daytime hours, with no weekend work and paid training.

Responsibilities include community integration, event planning, self-care assistance, medication administration, meal planning, transport, and following service plans. We value reliability and a caring attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low position, raise arms above shoulder, walk, sit (chair and floor), climb stairs, and use hands and fingers.
• Communicate basic English
• Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills.
• Experience with adults with disabilities.

Position Summary: The Day Center Services Program Assistant aids the operation of the Aurora Day Services to assure the delivery of timely, consistent, and quality day services.
