:Day care / Nursery Assistant Teacher
Mercaz Academy – Plainview, Long Island

Mercaz Academy, a warm and nurturing Orthodox Jewish early childhood and elementary school, is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join our Early Childhood Center team. This position is ideal for someone who is upbeat, caring, responsible and passionate about supporting young children as they grow and thrive.

Position Details:

• Hours:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 am -1:00 pm

• Calendar:

September through June, following our school calendar, including school vacations and 8 personal days

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with young children
• Warm, positive, and team-oriented demeanor
• Familiarity with Hebrew and Judaism is helpful, though not required
