Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to help customers have a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, operate registers, and keep the sales floor clean and well merchandised.

You will follow safety policies, protect store assets, and contribute to a fast, respectful, and team‑oriented environment. The role requires basic math, strong communication, and a willingness to learn Ross's service standards.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and practice safe behaviors.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor with proper merchandise presentation.
• Greet Customers and assist with merchandise and questions in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Operate registers and assist Customers with transactions.
• Follow MOS policies and protect store assets, cash, and merchandise.
• Support loss prevention and store protection programs as applicable.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
