Job summary

Biggby Coffee is seeking a Morning Shift Leader to supervise the store in the absence of the Manager, ensure PERC and priorities are followed, and keep operations running smoothly from early morning through close. You will manage opening/closing tasks, staff performance, and guest experience with a focus on speed, accuracy, and hospitality.

The role requires flexibility to start at 5am or stay later as café hours dictate, along with strong leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership role overseeing store operations in the manager's absence.
• Experience supervising staff to meet daily goals and standards.
• Familiarity with maintaining cleanliness, safety, and guest service quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PERC is practiced by all staff at all times.
• Monitor service speed and accuracy across the sales process.
• Maintain a clean, energetic store atmosphere for a positive guest experience.
• Ensure products are stocked and the 3 Hour Checklist is completed.
• Coach staff to improve sales, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Take guest orders at register, drive-thru, or mobile ordering and process payments accurately.
• Greet guests warmly and answer questions about the menu.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Restock supplies and keep work areas organized.
• Operate espresso machines, blenders, ovens, and other equipment safely.
