Job summary

W3Global in Dayton, OH is seeking an experienced Davenport Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator to support our growing, multi-year contracts and rotating job shop runs. You will set up and operate machines, read blueprints, and uphold tight tolerances to ensure quality parts.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will use calipers, micrometers and GD&T knowledge to verify dimensions, perform routine machine maintenance, and document production data for traceability.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge are required.
• 5+ years of Davenport multi-spindle screw machine experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO/TS quality methods is a plus.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and/or operate screw machines according to blueprints and job specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
