Job summary

Price Manufacturing Company Inc. seeks a Davenport machine operator/set-up person to monitor and set up machines for contract manufactured parts. You will run 2+ machines, confirm product to customer specifications, and work a 4-day week (Mon-Thu, 40 hours).

You will use handheld micrometers, comparators, height gauges, and other inspection tools to ensure strict quality. Safety and ISO expectations apply; training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with measurement tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the machine, monitor production using measurement tools and inspection devices.
• Perform 1st article inspections on all new set-ups or tooling replacements.
• Perform maintenance on machines at prescribed intervals.
• Log production lots and heats on daily traveler tickets.
• Follow written work instructions for all assigned jobs.
• Grind and sharpen tools if trained to do so.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and assist in problem-solving.
