Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Pennington, NJ seeks an experienced engineer for Level 2/3 production support of IBM DataStage ETL applications. You will monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity.

Requirements include 10+ years in the field, strong Oracle/PL-SQL, and familiarity with ITIL-driven operations. UI scripting and Autosys are a plus, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in IBM DataStage ETL environments.
Proficient in IBM DataStage, Oracle and PL/SQL with strong data integration skills.
Experience with ITIL processes and production support.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
Coordinate with business users, application teams, database admins, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
