Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pennington, NJ is seeking a seasoned ETL production support professional to provide Level 2/3 support for IBM DataStage ETL applications. You will monitor daily batch jobs and ensure SLAs are met.

Responsibilities include incident analysis, RCA, coordinating with multiple teams, and assisting with releases and post-implementation validations. ITIL-compliant processes and strong documentation practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ETL and production support.
• Strong experience with IBM DataStage, Oracle, and SQL.
• Preferred: UI - Linux shell script, Autosys.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
• Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
• Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
• Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
• Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
