Job summary

BinTech Group in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a seasoned ETL/DataStage Engineer to support and enhance IBM DataStage-based ETL processes and related Oracle/SQL Server applications. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analyses, and develop automated data pipelines.

The role involves designing specifications, writing SQL/PLSQL, and deploying Azure cloud solutions with Databricks emphasis, collaborating with business customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with the listed tech stack.
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills.
• Experience in design and development of data warehouses and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Support of IBM DataStage ETL processes, SQL server and Oracle based applications.

• Have good experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions)


• Thorough understanding of DW principles (Fact Tables, Dimensional Tables, Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, OLTP, OLAP and Data Warehousing concepts).


• Nice to have experience in Azure Data Platform services (Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Data factory (ADF), Azure SQL DW, Databricks), SQL Server, Oracle, Data Warehouse etc.


• Ability to recreate existing legacy application logic and functionality into Azure Data Factory/Data Lake, SQL Database and SQL Datawarehouse environment.


• Excellent Communication and Analytical skills.


• 5+ years of experience in the above tech stack.


• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer science
