Job summary

BinTech Group in New Jersey is seeking an ETL Developer to support IBM DataStage ETL processes, SQL Server and Oracle-based applications. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, performing root cause analysis to ensure reliability of data systems.

Responsibilities include designing and modifying ETL workflows, writing SQL/PLSQL, and coordinating with stakeholders. Experience with Azure Data Platform services (ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL DW, Databricks) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IBM DataStage development and support.
• Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures and functions.
• Solid understanding of DW concepts (fact/dim tables, star/snowflake schemas, OLTP/OLAP).

Responsibilities

• Support IBM DataStage ETL processes and SQL Server/Oracle based applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues; perform root cause analysis and ensure reliability of data applications.
• Develop and modify ETL processes; write SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Design and develop functional specifications and technical documents.
• Develop, test, and deploy Azure-based data solutions emphasizing Databricks.

Support of IBM DataStage ETL processes, SQL server and Oracle based applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of applications.

Root cause analysis of both technical and functional issues.

Develop and modify existing ETL processes, Write SQL and PL/SQL queries.

Involve in Design and develop functional specifications and technical documents.

Develop, test, and deploy applications using Azure cloud services, with a strong emphasis on Databricks.

Working closely with various stakeholders such as business customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide support.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have strong experience in developing and supporting IBM DataStage components - DataStage Designer, DataStage Director, DataStage Administrator and IBM information server.

Have good experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions)

Thorough understanding of DW principles (Fact Tables, Dimensional Tables, Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, OLTP, OLAP and Data Warehousing concepts).

Nice to have experience in Azure Data Platform services (Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Data factory (ADF), Azure SQL DW, Databricks), SQL Server, Oracle, Data Warehouse etc.

Ability to recreate existing legacy application logic and functionality into Azure Data Factory/Data Lake, SQL Database and SQL Datawarehouse environment.

Excellent Communication and Analytical skills.

5+ years of experience in the above tech stack.

Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer science
