Job summary

The DataOps / Platform Engineer at UVM Health - UVM Medical Center oversees the operational health and strategy of the enterprise analytics data platform, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure data infrastructure. The role ensures stability, monitoring, backups, archiving, and optimized performance for a growing analytics team.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to onboard new data sources, assess feasibility, and plan technical integrations across the data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data platform operations, DataOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure infrastructure, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing and managing backup, archiving, and disaster recovery processes.
• Familiarity with job scheduling, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
