Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced field install lead to supervise installation crews across a range of cabling projects in the Hampton Roads area, including Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond. You will read blueprints, coordinate with office teams and clients, manage safety, schedules, and quality, and ensure on-time project delivery while maintaining a professional, hands-on leadership style.

Candidates must have five years cabling experience, BICSI training preferred, own basic tools, and a

Qualifications

Three years leading installation crews, running projects and coordinating with office and clients.
Five years installing/troubleshooting structured cabling systems (Cat5/6, Fiber, Patch Panels, 110/66-Blocks, 25-Pairs, Building racks).
BICSI Installer/Technician, Panduit or Ortronics trainings or equivalent.
Experience with audio/video and/or security/surveillance is a plus.
Familiarity with construction techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Lead installation crews and manage project execution.
Read and interpret blueprints for cabling installations.
Coordinate with office teams, project teams and clients to maintain schedule and quality.
Ensure safety compliance and proper use of tools.
