Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse/Datacenter Associate for the B Shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) at our USA Ridgeville datacenter. You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, conduct inventory cycle counts, and process returns using multiple warehouse management systems.

You will install rack components and cabling, operate pallet jacks and other equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Candidates should have 1-3 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills, good computer

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• Experience with computers is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
