Job summary

Insight Global in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Data Center Technician for a 6-month contract. You will be the primary resolver for hardware issues and support teams.

Responsibilities include server rack installations, hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, and incident response. You will escalate to senior technicians as needed and participate in a 24/7 rotation.

-1+ years of relevant experience in data center operations, IT support, or a similar technical troubleshooting field (NOT installation)

-1+ years of troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve undefined technical problems

-Willingness to participate in a primary responder rotation and support 24/7 data center operations

Preferred qualifications

-Experience working in a Data Center environment

-Understanding of network design, protocols, troubleshooting, and in-depth hardware knowledge (e.g., PCIe)

-Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.

Job Description

A client is looking for a Data Center Technician, who will be the primary resolver for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving most complex hardware infrastructure issues.

You will perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required.
