Job summary
A leading technology solutions provider is looking for Connectivity & Hardware Support Engineers in Sterling, Virginia. You will provide support for cabling infrastructure and network hardware, managing equipment setups and troubleshooting issues. Ideal candidates will have a background in cabling environments, experience with server hardware, and proficiency with modern cabling tools. Qualifications
- Background in voice and data cabling environments.
- Experience with Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) work.
- Proficient in using modern cabling test tools.
Responsibilities
- Network and desktop equipment setup and support.
- Monitor and manage tickets, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber infrastructure.
Skills
Voice and data cabling background
Experience with Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC)
Practical experience with fiber and copper installations
Familiarity with rack and stack of server hardware
Proficient in using modern cabling test tools
Understanding of LAN/WAN and network hardware
Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar systems
