The role involves installing, labeling, and staging cables; performing startup/shutdown procedures for hardware; and following safety and network design task guidelines under Technician Leads.

Responsibilities

• Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommissioning process.
• Run, label, and stage power and networking cables.
• Follow procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads.
• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, and standard procedures.
• Perform post-execution quality checks and verify that grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
• Apply advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise to quickly identify the cause(s) of issues.
• Follow procedures to communicate, report, and escalating incidents to appropriate data center operations management units and Technician Leads.

Compensation:

$23/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
