Job summary

Bridge Source Utilities Solutions is seeking Data Center Technicians to monitor critical infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and drive reliability across multiple centers. You will build automation, analyze incidents, and collaborate with teams to optimize capacity and performance.

The role requires strong technical aptitude and hands-on server experience, with training provided. Willingness to travel to data centers and support after hours is expected.

Qualifications

  • Computer training or strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with receiving, tracking and managing inventory.
  • 6 months+ of experience in data center environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain critical data center systems (power, cooling, network).
  • Handle escalated customer support issues with SLA alignment.
  • Design and implement automation scripts to optimize processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and propose long-term fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
  • Be flexible with shifts and on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

We’re looking for Data Center Technicians that have good people, leadership & technical skills. A technical expert responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data center infrastructure. You are comfortable problem solving & making decisions on complex topics with high levels of ambiguity in a results driven environment.

  • You’re a self-starter, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly
  • You are willing to learn – TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and maintain critical systems like power, cooling, and network connectivity.
  • Handle escalated customer support issues, providing solutions aligned with business SLA requirements
  • Design and implement automation scripts and tools to optimize processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and recommend long-term fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, respond to critical incidents during out of business hours, and be on-call as required.
  • Ability to adapt to customer-driven demands, such as providing specialist support after core business hours
  • Availability to travel to additional data centers and to assist with deployments, trouble shouting and operational tasks and attendance of supplier related training courses
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Computer training or strong technical aptitude
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with receiving, tracking and managing inventory
  • 6 moths + of experience in data center environments.
  • Any technical certifications
  • Exposure to large scale Data Center environments
  • Hands-on server experience at a tech org
  • Experience with Fiber cabling, routers and switches
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Nvidia GB200/300 Series technology or liquid-to-the-chip cooling
