Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer in the Datacenter Systems Engineering team to validate and characterize power management controllers for NVIDIA's datacenter modules. The role involves lab-based debugging, automation, and hands-on testing of server platforms and modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hardware/software debugging, circuit analysis, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware/software debug experience.
• Experience with lab bring-up, hardware debugging, and use of test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation test plans for server platforms and modules.
• Perform electrical and functional validation of interfaces and components (power sensors, MCUs, I2C, SPI, SMBus, PCIe).
• Diagnose and resolve system issues during NPI builds to ensure timely product launches.
• Debug and root cause hardware, firmware, and interoperability issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
