Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Datacenter Engineer to build and operate production software for datacenter operations at scale in the Memphis area. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on reliability and operational excellence.

You will design multi-service production systems, APIs, and data pipelines, and integrate with ticketing, inventory, telemetry, and vendor portals. Collaboration with SiteOps and NOC is essential to deliver trusted, high-availability tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
3+ years building and operating production software.
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, networking.
Experience designing RESTful APIs for mission-critical apps.
Experience with databases and cloud platforms (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB; GCP/AWS/Azure).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
On-site in Memphis, TN or nearby. Accept relocation if needed.

Responsibilities

Build and operate software stacks that scale site operations, with dashboards and integrations.
Design, build, and operate multi-service production systems (UI, APIs, data pipelines, auth, on-call).
Own correctness of operational state: node state, queue ownership, audit trails.
Build and maintain integrations with ticketing, inventory/rack systems, telemetry stores, vendor portals.
Keep tools reliable: uptime, data integrity, reconciliation, access control, safe deploys.
Embed with SiteOps and NOC; measure workflow adoption, not just feature delivery.
