Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in Chandler, AZ seeks a Director of Operations to lead campus operations 24x7, ensuring safety, reliability, and exceptional service delivery across electrical and mechanical infrastructure. You will manage budgets, SLAs, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams, while driving sustainability and continuous improvement.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of operations leadership in data facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10 years’ experience or minimum 12-15 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents, AutoCAD, Visio, and PDF documents.
Ability to estimate cost of client installations and other assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Provides senior leadership to drive strategic vision for Aligned’s datacenters.
Manages Campus operations of the 24x7 Datacenter environment.
Oversees electrical and mechanical infrastructure including UPS, generators, fire suppression, BMS, and HVAC.
Ensures SLAs are met and that all work within the Datacenter is high quality and safe.
Drives vendor relationships to optimize costs and service levels.
Leads budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for datacenter operations.
