Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Data Center Team Lead for the New Albany, OH datacenter. The role oversees material orders, customer service and inventory management, and installs servers and components using a variety of tools.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound freight, quality checks, daily cycle counts, and installation of racks and cabling. Strong analytical, safety, and teamwork skills are essential; background checks/drug tests may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience is required.
• Capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers, quantities and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with accuracy using laser measuring devices.
• Population of electronic components and cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards through regular cleanup activities.
