Job summary

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a Datacenter Operations Manager IT to lead the datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, cloud services, and related systems. Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in technology management.
• Ability to develop datacenter infrastructure strategies for large initiatives.
• Experience deploying and maintaining operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Ability to manage cloud-based operations (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for private/public/hybrid clouds.
• Knowledge of Active Directory Services and Microsoft Exchange.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform complex data analyses and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a principal advisor on Datacenter programs, systems, and operational issues.
• Provide direction and planning for Datacenter Operations to facilitate growth and improved services.
• Oversee administration of Datacenter Operations and support to all users.
• Coordinate Cloud Base operations and cost management while improving performance.
• Oversee installation, upgrading, deployment, monitoring, and backup operations.
• Develop and enforce SLAs, policies, and disaster recovery measures.
• Prepare statements of work and serve as COTR for contracted services.
• Maintain liaison with Airports Authority and external partners.
