Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Datacenter Engineer in Miami, FL to join the Data Center Operations team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support data center hardware and infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years of data center experience, expertise in IT infrastructure and structured cabling, and familiarity with fiber optic standards. Travel may be required, and you will contribute to projects and upgrades across global locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Center Engineering and Operations.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, structured cabling (copper and fiber), and network cabling.
• Knowledge of fiber optic standards, installation, testing, and documentation.
• US Passport holder due to travel to US and global locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support data center hardware, infrastructure, and supporting systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform network cabling, patching, cross-connects, cable routing, rack elevations, cable management, and connectivity validation for network, compute, and storage environments.
• Coordinate fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, and termination activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage infrastructure, including environmental monitoring, access control, and surveillance.
• Assist in planning and executing data center projects such as equipment deployments, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades.
