Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Finance Lead to own and support data center strategic initiatives in a hybrid San Francisco office. You will partner with technical teams to guide expansion, build robust financial models, and manage capex, Opex, and financing activities across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Capital Markets, and Corporate Development to de‑risk capacity plans and drive strategic outcomes within tight timelines. A strong finance and infra background is ideal.

Qualifications

• You may need 7+ years in strategic finance, infra investing, private equity, or investment banking, preferably in data center/infra.
• Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex financial models.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders with technical partners.
• Strong work ethic and action orientation under tight timelines.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
• Passion for Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives to support datacenter expansion and identify new potential areas of focus.
• Negotiate complex transactions with external counterparties and drive internal cross‑functional alignment.
• Manage data center pipeline, benchmarking economics across the portfolio with FP&A leads.
• Partner with Capital Markets & Corporate Development on project financing across the capital structure.
• Own FP&A tied to capex and cash flow, building detailed financial models.
• Run budget‑vs‑actual on spend and track commitments with accounting on contracts.
