Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a datacenter systems engineer responsible for designing, building, testing, and documenting enterprise-class infrastructure. You will evaluate and implement new products, ensuring monitoring and reliability across hardware, software, and networking platforms.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, with a preference for healthcare domain knowledge. Experience with hypervisors, scripting, and vendor coordination is essential; cloud experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience.
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
• Experience working with hypervisors and scripting required.
• Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.
• Cloud experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, troubleshoot, and document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms.
• Evaluate, analyze, configure, and implement new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
• Support logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting.
