Job summary

WorldLink in Frisco, TX is seeking a Databricks Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern data and AI solutions for enterprise clients. This is a technical leadership role translating complex customer requirements into scalable Databricks architectures, driving pre-sales proposals, and building high performing technical teams.

You will work with clients, sales, and delivery teams to architect solutions that leverage the full Databricks platform, including Lakehouse, Unity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise data solutions.
3+ years hands-on with Databricks platform including Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
Strong technical foundation in data engineering, SQL, Apache Spark, Python, and distributed computing.
Experience building data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance frameworks.
Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

Own the technical vision and execution of Databricks solutions for customers.
Lead architecture design, assessments, and future state recommendations leveraging Databricks Lakehouse and AI/ML capabilities.
Lead pre-sales discovery sessions and author technical sections of proposals and SOWs.
Build and mentor high performing data engineers, analysts, and junior architects.
