Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III- Databricks in Seattle, WA. You will join an agile team to design and deliver trusted, scalable software products within the CDAO group, contributing across multiple technical areas and business functions.

You will design, develop, and test production-quality code, leveraging enterprise AI-assisted tooling and robust SDLC practices to ensure secure and resilient solutions in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience with modern programming languages and database querying.
Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation of outputs for correctness, performance and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity and secure handling.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve non-routine problems.
Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with related systems.
Uses enterprise AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and testing.
Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value realization.
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met.
Gathers and analyzes data to visualize and report for continuous improvement of software.
