Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and design software solutions
• Develop software by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes
• Investigate problem areas through the software development life cycle
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problems
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability
• Analyze client requirements and convert to feasible design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate software requirements
• Communicate with project managers on software capabilities
• Perform coding and ensure optimal module development
• Evaluate feasibility through analysis, requirements, and proposed software
• Develop and automate processes for software validation with test cases
• Modify software to fix errors and adapt to new hardware
• Recommend installations or modifications of systems
• Ensure code quality with bug-free testing
• Prepare reports on project specifications and status
• Document and replicate patterns clearly in code
• Coordinate daily status and progress with the team
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability to stakeholders
• Capture requirements from the client for quality work
• Take regular feedback to ensure on-time delivery
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with practices and languages
