Job summary

NewGen Technologies seeks an experienced Data Architect to design and govern enterprise data architecture within the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will lead data modeling efforts, develop gold-layer schemas, and collaborate with data engineers to review pipeline designs.

You will support DoD-focused projects requiring US Citizenship and Secret Clearance, with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, architecture, and documentation to ensure compliance and scalability.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required
• Secret Clearance required
• Ability to produce and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation
• Design logical and physical data models for the Databricks Lakehouse
• Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling
• Design gold-layer schema aligned to KPI requirements
• Partner with data engineers to review pipeline designs
• Familiarity with the Agile process
