• 8+ years as Software/Data Engineer with heavy data platform security focus and security automation.
• Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience is preferred for advanced roles.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog security features and RBAC/ABAC at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead RBAC and ABAC design within Databricks Unity Catalog and define tagging standards.
• Define data access security architecture including row-level and column masking.
• Develop identity governance including service principals and workload identities.
• Translate compliance requirements into practical technical controls within the platform.
• Establish data classification standards and tagging structures for scalable access control.
• Implement access controls using Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles with version control and auditability.
• Collaborate with workspace and platform teams to align security controls with data access strategy.
• Create guardrails and templates to streamline access management for data engineers.
