Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Databricks Data Governance Engineer to lead access control design across our Databricks Lakehouse. You will own the security model, set engineering standards, and translate compliance needs into scalable controls.

The role sits primarily in Falls Church, VA with option for full-time telework. You will collaborate with data/platform engineers and enterprise stakeholders to implement robust data access and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years as Software/Data Engineer focused on data platform security.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience implementing Databricks Unity Catalog security features.
• Experience designing RBAC/ABAC models at scale with Databricks Unity Catalog, grants, dynamic views, and masking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of RBAC and ABAC within Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Define security architecture for data access, including row-level and column masking.
• Develop identity governance with service principals and workload identities; integrate with enterprise IdP.
